Ponte Sant'Angelo is a Roman bridge in Rome completed in 134 AD by Roman Emperor Hadrian, to span the Tiber, from the city center to his newly constructed mausoleum, now the towering Castel Sant'Angelo.

The giant bronze pine cone (Pigna) once decorated a fountain in Ancient Rome next to a vast Temple of Isis. The bronze peacocks on either side of the fountain are copies of those decorating the tomb of the Emperor Hadrian, now the Castel Sant'Angelo.
